The word “epic” probably gets thrown around a bit too much when describing floor-sweeping dance tunes, but it truly is hard to find a more fitting way to describe Nicky Romero’s “Symphonica.” Released earlier this year, the single found Romero fusing his precise brand of dance music with larger-than-life strings inspired by the symphonic tradition, and resulting in a truly epic floor-pleaser.

Now, Romero has launched a Play remix contest for “Symphonica,” with a $1000 voucher for Plugin Alliance, a set of autographed Beats Mixr headphones, and a release with Protocol Records going to the best rework submitted by July 15. The track’s individual pieces have been separated out and are waiting for hungry producers to rework them into something brand new, so don’t delay, start reconfiguring “Symphonica” as soon as you can!
